Flexible sEMG Electrode Array

A flexible high-density electrode array fabricated using Aerosol Jet Printing technology to improve muscle activity monitoring in post-orthotic rehabilitation.

Overview

From need to functional engineering system.

This work connected electrode-array design with additive manufacturing and process characterization, focusing on the fabrication of flexible biomedical electrodes for rehabilitation-oriented muscle monitoring.

My contribution

  • Developed the geometry of a flexible sEMG electrode array.
  • Investigated Aerosol Jet Printing for flexible biomedical electronics.
  • Characterized printing parameters and deposition quality.
  • Supported prototype fabrication and process optimization.
  • Applied structured experimental methods to improve repeatability and print quality.
